Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Team Penske Redd's Wicked Apple Ale Ford Fusion) delivered a clutch win in Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway to advance to the next round of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Championship series. After a tumultuous previous week, which saw Keselowski get fined $50,000 and earn the wrath of several drivers, Keselowski delivered one of the biggest wins of his career when he absolutely needed it the most. It was Keselowski's series-leading sixth win of the season, his third at Talladega and the sixteenth of his career. Matt Kenseth (No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Home Depot Toyota Camry) finished second and Clint Boyer (No. 15 Michael Waltrip Racing Pink Lemonade 5-Hour Energy Benefiting LBBC Toyota Camry) finished third. The other drivers who now advance to the Eliminator round along with Keselowski are Joey Logano (No. 22 Team Penske Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion), Carl Edwards (No. 99 Roush Fenway Racing Subway Ford Fusion), Kevin Harvick (No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Budweiser Chevrolet SS), Jeff Gordon (No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Axalta Chevrolet SS), Ryan Newman (No. 31 Richard Childress Racing Caterpillar Chevrolet SS), Denny Hamlin (No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing FedEx Toyota Camry) and Matt Kenseth. The drivers who didn't make it to the next round are Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne. Watch NASCAR videos here and here.
